        • January 31, 2018 STOKEHOUSE - ST KILDA

This piece was created alongside Pascale Gomes-McNabb and Robert Slmeoni architects, for the long awaited Stokehouse re-opening.

In total the installation is made up of 2400 individual glass rods - Mark drew inspiration from stalactites and natural forms to complement the view overlooking the upstairs dining hall.

A light and slight pink wash travel throughout the piece to add fluidity and movement and to pick up and carry through the warm tones of the raw wood floors.

After dark the piece transforms into a visual display with adjustable coloured light pouring through the rods to accommodate any mood.

        • January 30, 2018 AUSTRALIAN EVENTS CENTRE

Made up of 523 handblown glass balls, this was a commissioned piece for the Australian Events Centre.

The vibrant colours are drawn from the Australian landscape and the changing light and mood of the outdoors. Mark wanted to capture and bring a version of these circadian rhythms indoors.

This piece was designed to be interactive with changing LED installed to project onto and reflect off the glass – scattering light and shadows throughout the room.

A specifically designed fixing system and ceiling plate allow for a natural wave cascading throughout the four function rooms – gently tying the space to together.

        • June 15, 2017 THE POINT - ALBERT PARK

The Point Lighting installation takes inspiration from the ‘Webber’ in our Bespoke range and the ‘Vintage’ from our Design Range.

The small glass pieces are ribbed and textured in Steel blue, Clear and Aubergine. The solid metal component is a modular assembly that was designed to fill the space of the dining hall in such a way as to be a feature but not obstruct the amazing view.
