STOKEHOUSE - ST KILDA

STOKEHOUSE - ST KILDA

This piece was created alongside Pascale Gomes-McNabb and Robert Slmeoni architects, for the long awaited Stokehouse re-opening.

In total the installation is made up of 2400 individual glass rods - Mark drew inspiration from stalactites and natural forms to complement the view overlooking the upstairs dining hall.

A light and slight pink wash travel throughout the piece to add fluidity and movement and to pick up and carry through the warm tones of the raw wood floors.

After dark the piece transforms into a visual display with adjustable coloured light pouring through the rods to accommodate any mood.
